Who is responsible

I'm Niki Papageorgopoulou (Nikip), an independent painter based in Greece, and I'm the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach me at nikipart.paintings@gmail.com, through the contact form or on Instagram.

What the contact form collects, and why

When you send a request, the form sends me your name, your email address, what you'd like painted, your message, a link to your photos if you add one, and the language of the page you used. I use these only to answer your request and, if you go ahead, to arrange your painting. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). I never sell your details, share them for marketing or add them to a mailing list.

Who else handles it

Form messages are delivered by Formspree, a form service based in the USA, which passes them on to me by email and keeps a copy in its dashboard. This means your message is stored outside the EU. The site itself is hosted on GitHub Pages, which, like any web host, may log visitors' IP addresses for security. The fonts are stored on this site, so loading a page does not contact Google or any other third party.

How long I keep it

I keep messages for as long as it takes to answer them and complete any painting that follows, and after that only as long as tax or accounting rules require. You can ask me to delete them at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data I hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, limit how I use it or object to its use. Just email me or send a message through the contact form. If you think your data has been mishandled, you can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).

Links to other sites

Links to Instagram and TikTok take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies. Nothing from them is loaded on this site.
